A Chinoiserie Inspired Cottage
This 1930's bungalow was given new life with classic Chinoiserie style. By layering patterns, trims and rugs, and repurposing all of the owners treasured antique pieces, these spaces came alive. This cottage now reflects the homeowner's charming personality and love of traditional Chinoiserie design chic. Check out the lovely redesign of these spaces, by clicking on the image to the left.
Composed Elegance

This beautiful transitional Mediterranean home's formal living and dining spaces were in major need of some updating. The decor was heavy, dark, and overdone. We came in with a fresh, neutral palette of soft blue, silver, and beige.
Mixing the Old with the New...
The redesign of this lovely bedroom is loaded with whimsical charm and glamour, reinventing some of the client's family heirlooms and antiques in a fresh, inviting way. The result? A perfect retreat from the ordinary.
A Luxurious Urban Safari

Our concept for this elegant living room is an 'urban safari.' It is a metaphor for this luxurious oasis from our client's big-city life. We created a palette of animal and tribal prints, sumptuous [faux] furs, and glitzy patterned sheers. African art, sparkling gemstones, and many textural influences provide exotic accents. Can you feel the call of the wild??

Dramatic Kitchen Remodel
As seen in the Houston Chronicle!

Check out this incredible kitchen transformation! Our client was desperate to remodel the kitchen in her new home. It was dark, outdated, and impossible to keep clean. Now the kitchen is the PERFECT place to prepare a gourmet dinner and entertain guests. Let us know what you think!

Reinventing the Classics

This beautiful library space was redesigned to accomodate a complex program: performances on a gorgeous Steinway piano, study space for the kids, entertaining space for the adults, and a space for the whole family to cuddle up with a good book. Click on the sideshow to the left to explore how we transformed the space into a real class act!

Well-Traveled Sophistication

As seen in the Houston Chronicle!

Our clients custom-built this house back when their kids were young. Now that their nest is empty once again, they felt it was high-time to refresh their living room to create a sanctuary filled with their favorite collectibles and books. Check out the dramatic before and after photos by clicking on the slideshow to the left!

This lovely family room space needed a fresh take. The bones were good, but the decor was dark and heavy (see the 'before' images). The furniture did not offer the homeowners the function they required or the atmosphere they desired in which to entertain. Check out how simply updating the decor provided them with a whole new outlook.
The Texas Hill Country Goes Coastal

After our client sold the family’s ranch home in historic Boerne, Texas and bought a contemporary residence at Galveston’s Diamond Beach development, she realized that she wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye to the hill country, the furniture, or the fond memories she and her family had acquired over the years… Our mission was to re-create the character and charm of her former Hill Country ranch within the contemporary spaces of her new coastal getaway at the Diamond Beach Condominiums in Galveston, Texas.  Check out the stunning transfomation of not just the spaces, but the many of the owner's family treasures.

We are proud to announce that this project was the featured spread entitled, "Seaside Country" in the August 2013 issue of "Houston House & Home."

A Classically-Inspired Bedroom & Home Office

Inspired by the client's love of New Orleans and his English heritage, this space softens the hard edges of the home's contemporary architecture with a cheerful color palette, plush transitional furniture, and charming decorative objects.
